In response to the popularity of the ‘Murder Most Fowl!’ a shorter version has been created for centres who just want a no-nonsense, snappy event that’s ‘a piece of cake’ to stage. With a running time of approximately 30/35 minutes, it’s much shorter than the original and ideal for new murderplays’ customers or for secondary schools looking for a quirky classroom event. The main differences between the Starter Edition and the original are that this version is set in modern times and only requires 5 actors. Everything else remains essentially the same…

‘Murder Most Fowl!’ (Starter Edition) is set on a remote farm in the fictional district of ‘Scarsdale’. When its farmer, Amos Ramsbottom, is murdered (he’s found hanging by his Wellingtons inside a rickety barn) the quest is on to find out who-did-it. But who would want to consign poor old Amos to that great farmyard in the sky? Could it be...
